2016 President's Award Winner Jamie Lay

Gibbs’ President’s Awards are given once a year to individuals who go above and beyond to demonstrate our core H3 Lean Values. Award winners are nominated by peers and voted upon by Gibbs leadership.

Jamie has worked at Gibbs since 1995, and is now a Group Lead. Jamie enjoys working at Gibbs because of the bonds he has formed with the team he works with, saying that the right people with the right attitude make work enjoyable and fun. After a hot day at work, Jamie looks forward to spending time with his wife, sitting in the A/C, and drinking a milkshake. Jamie’s solution to a tough situation at work is to focus on something else for 5 minutes, then come back to the problem with a fresh mind.
