Gibbs Surpasses 2M Hours without Lost Time Incident

Gibbs recently surpassed the impressive threshold of  2M hours without lost time incident! A team member appreciation lunch was held during each shift to celebrate the milestone, and each team member received a Gibbs cooler as a gift.

This accomplishment is a testament to the unwavering commitment to safety that every team member at Gibbs demonstrates. Gibbs takes immense pride in being a leader in safety, showcasing a dedication that goes beyond industry standards and consistently maintaining a stellar safety record in the die casting industry.  NADCA (North American Die Casting Association) monitors safety results of their industry members.  Gibbs has fewer than half the lost time incidents compared to the national industry average because of the proactive safety measures in place and the team’s dedication to creating a secure working environment.

Creating a safe workplace requires continuous effort and improvement. An essential part of our safety culture is the Near Miss reporting system, which encourages team members to report potential hazards or close calls that could have resulted in an incident. This reporting system has been pivotal in identifying and addressing potential risks before they escalate, contributing significantly to our outstanding safety record.

Thank you again to all the Gibbs team members who made this achievement possible!  Together, we will continue to raise the bar and set new standards for safety excellence in the die casting industry.
