At the heart of the Tri-State Women’s Network are its core objectives: to provide opportunities for professional development, foster meaningful connections, and empower women to reach their full potential. Through a series of events and community outreach projects, the network aims to create a supportive environment where people can thrive.
The first event of 2024, titled “Bold & Beautiful – the Art of Assertive and Fair Communication,” was a success. Participants had the opportunity to learn how to communicate assertively with tips that can be applied in both professional and personal lives.
Gibbs had the honor of serving as the Presenting Sponsor for this event, alongside corporate members including Accuride, Alcoa, Audubon Metal, Century Aluminum Sebree, Koch Air, Pratt Industries, River View Coal, and Sitex. It is also supported by partners including Brake Supply, Henderson Economic Development, Henderson Chamber of Commerce, Henderson Community College, Chappelle Consulting, Junior Achievement, Koch Enterprises, and Columbia.
The group is also starting Mentoring Program this summer. Participants will commit to meeting with each other monthly for one year to help each other work toward personal and professional goals.
