Gibbs is a corporate member of WiM (Women in Manufacturing) which provides training and educational programs that support the advancement and development of women at all levels of their manufacturing careers.
The WiM Empowering Women in Production program is a 20-week course designed to support the professional development of team members on the production floor. This program is designed to support team members professional development in production or shop-floor roles at manufacturing companies to make their next promotion more likely and more quickly. The program focuses on professional skills for success.
Congratulations to Darla Culver for being Gibbs’ first graduate of the Empowering Women in Production course. Based on feedback from Darla, ten more team members are registered to start the course this fall. Thank you Darla for leading the way!
