Granted's Over the Edge Fundraiser: A Day of Fun and Fear-Conquering for a Great Cause”

Granted’s Over the Edge fundraiser combined fun, philanthropy, and personal challenge! Participants had the unique opportunity to rappel down a nine-story building, all in support of local families in need. This year’s event was a huge success, raising an impressive $229,000, with the Koch Foundation proudly serving as a Rope Sponsor.

Many team members bravely took the plunge including Jennifer Slade, Avery Slade, Michelle Myers, and the fearless 10-year-old Lucy Muehlbauer!

Volunteers played a crucial role in the event’s success and many team members stepped up to run the ropes and assist the rappelers throughout the day. As part of their rope volunteer training, the volunteers also had the chance to rappel.  Despite moments of doubt—”This is crazy! Why am I doing this?”—everyone was ultimately glad they pushed   past their fears.
