2016 President's Award Winner Miguel Atencio

Gibbs’ President’s Awards are given once a year to individuals who go above and beyond to demonstrate our core H3 Lean Values. Award winners are nominated by peers and voted upon by Gibbs leadership.

Miguel has worked at Gibbs for 11 years and is a Trim Lead. Miguel likes that his job challenges him to learn and grow each day. His favorite part of working at Gibbs is meeting people and learning. When Miguel is faced with a stressful situation, his best advice is to take a deep breath and address the problem step by step. He enjoys working with new team members and training them to work safely, and says that if you are willing to learn, you will have a successful career at Gibbs.
