Gibbs-Brasil Die Casting facilities are TS16949 Certified

In 1999 Gibbs was approached by one of our customers that was in need of quality aluminum die cast components for their facilities in South America. Gibbs-Brasil Die Casting was purchased in early 2000. It is located in Contagem. A suburb just west of the capital city of Belo Horizonte in the state of Minas Gerais.

Gibbs Die Casting brings the unique process of vacuum ladled, high and ultra-high pressure die casting to our customers, offering them an alternative to forging, permanent mold and conventional die casting. Our manufacturing process has been accepted by the world casting market as equal to or superior to conventional die casting. And all of our presses are linked to our unique computerized process failure detection system ensuring that all castings are of superior quality to conventional die casting methods.

The Tancredo Neves Airport (CNF) airport in Belo Horizonte serves this region. And Gibbs Brasil is only a half hour drive from the airport.
